Austasia Sports & Leisure Club – Badminton

Austasia International Sports & Leisure Complex in Thalawathugoda is the closest thing Sri Lanka has to a true all-in-one sports destination, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, under any weather. Founded in 2001 and grown to over 7,500 members, the complex hosts indoor cricket, futsal, tennis, netball, badminton, swimming, squash, and more, all in a single facility. The badminton courts are available to members and walk-in players alike, with professional coaching conducted by experienced local coaches including former national players. Located just off the Battaramulla-Pannipitiya Road in Ruhunupura, Thalawathugoda, it serves as a neighbourhood sports hub for a vast residential catchment area. The 24/7 access is particularly unique: you can literally book a midnight badminton session. Austasia has also hosted the 4th Indoor Cricket World Cup, making it the only venue in Sri Lanka to host a full sports world cup in a single complex.
