Poseidon Diving Station Hikkaduwa

Founded in 1973, Poseidon Diving Station is Sri Lanka's oldest and first PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre — with over 50 years of experience diving the reefs and wrecks of the south coast. Based at 304 Galle Road in Hikkaduwa, the centre operates year-round from Hikkaduwa and seasonally from Trincomalee, with a team of 10 PADI instructors including Master Instructors and a Course Director. Whether you've never dived before or are working toward your Divemaster certification, Poseidon offers the full PADI course ladder alongside daily fun dives on the Hikkaduwa coral reef. The house reef features a rich coral garden, sea turtles, and several accessible wrecks — all within minutes of the shore.
