Zimantra Leisure Center – Badminton

Zimantra Leisure Center in Battaramulla is home to the largest dedicated indoor badminton facility in Sri Lanka: a 12,000 sq ft hall with six courts built on premium wooden sprung flooring. Opened in 2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, Zimantra is a full-service leisure destination that also houses a world-class gym with Hammer Strength equipment, a 25-metre swimming pool, and a purpose-built fitness studio. The badminton courts feature stress-reducing lighting designed to reduce eye fatigue and improve visibility, making it one of the most player-friendly environments in the country. Reservations are required in advance and can be made by phone. With a regular community of serious players and coaching programs by the Winners Badminton Academy held on-site, Zimantra is the go-to court for both competitive and recreational players east of Colombo.
